checking in & out
check-in
For private bookings, check-in is between 3 PM to 7 PM. Unless you have arranged for an early or late check-in.
If we are able to accommodate early check-ins, we will, within a certain limit. If you would like to add a full day to your stay, we can discuss a day rate. Please email to make arrangements for early arrivals at hello@truehouse.ca.
Self check-in: We are happy to arrange self-check-ins by preference, or if you need to arrive before or after the stated check-in times.
keys
For private bookings, the house manager or one of the owners will be there to greet you and provide you with keys. If you have arranged a self-check-in, then we will set up a spot for you to pick up the keys.
linens & towels
Linens, blankets, and bath towels are provided in each room.
kitchen
For private bookings the kitchen is fully equipped with cooking tools, pans, plates, cups, etc. As well as a full size fridge for you to store your groceries for your stay.
house manager
We have a dedicated house manager, who will be onsite or nearby, if you need assistance during your stay. We are best reached by SMS text: 343-367-5747.
If there is an emergency, please call the house manager, and call 911 in case of medical emergency or fire (and please pull the fire alarms to alert the rest of the house).

check-out
For private bookings, self-check-out is by 12 PM. Unless you have arranged for a late checkout.
If we are able to accommodate late check-outs, we will, within a certain limit. If you would like to add a full-day onto your stay, we can discuss a day-rate. Please email us to make arrangements for late departures at hello@truehouse.ca.
keys
Please leave keys in the rooms or on the kitchen counter. No need to lock the front door or rooms when you go, the house manager will be there around check out to lock up.
linens & towels
You do not need to strip or remake the beds, leave the linens and blankets as is when you go, we will take care of making the beds. Please put used bath towels in the large laundry baskets provided in the washrooms, and hand/face towels in the small laundry baskets provided in the washrooms.
kitchen
Please tidy up after yourself, and remember to take your leftovers and personal belongings.
garbage & recycling
Please DO NOT leave garbage outside, if the kitchen garbage is full please leave tied bags in the first floor back stairwell.
Help us keep things green! Please separate recycling and put in the bin under the sink. A compost bin for food waste is provided in the kitchen, please put full bags of compost in the freezer or fridge to help with fruit flies.
the big blue room
If you are sharing the common spaces, please put away any items, books or board games in the common rooms. Please don’t remove any art, decor, items, books or games from the property.
don't forget anything
Make sure you don't leave any belongings in the common spaces or bedrooms when you leave.
